Within this workshop you will learn how to use a fusing technic for the plastic bags (yes, the ones you get in the shop to bring tomatoes home), obtaining a new, cool and resistant material.
You will make your own material, colored the way you feel for, flexible and at the same time keeping its shape. Then, with the help of facilitators you will finally create a functional, sustainable and aesthetic bag.
It`s all about upcycling! If it so happened that you don`t know what it is.. Upcycling is the process of converting waste or unwanted products into new materials or products of a higher quality. The goal of upcycling is to prevent potential waste by making new products out of existing things.
The workshop is held by the creative team Infected Designers founded by Eleni Georgakila and Sandra Julve.
